Linea temporale¶

• I minori cambiamenti e piccoli fix di bug possono essere messi nel trunk

• Fissare una scadenza per la prossima versione su 2 mesi nel futuro.

• Discutere con il PSC e gli svilupattori, su quali nuove caratteristiche dovrebbero essere incorporate nella versione (in futuro questo sarà il trunk).

• Aggiornare la schermata d’avvio (sia versioni minori che maggiori!)

• Aggiornare il file CMakeLists.txt riguardo alle voci del nome e della versione

• Aggiornare il pannello Informazioni -> Sviluppatori con un’immagine dello hackfest più recente

• Verificare che l’icona 64x64 di QGIS sia senza il testo «master»

Tre settimane prima - feature freeze Mettere qui la data¶

• Solo i bug fix possono essere messi nel ramo trunk d’ora in avanti, non può essere inserita nessuna nuova caratteristica.

• Inserimento completo di tutte le nuove caratteristiche.

• Avviso ai documentatori per aggiornare la documentazione riguardante le nuove caratteristiche su Git.

• Controllo dei cambiamenti nella struttura del file del progetto, se degni di nota.

• Il team Release inizia a scrivere i comunicati di stampa, a catturare le schermate per le novità, ecc.

• Inserire il collegamento web alla lista visuale dei cambiamenti qui.

Due settimane prima - string freeze - Inserire qui la data¶

• I bug fix possono essere ancore messi nel ramo trunk, ma nessuna stringa può essere modificata. Nota: l’intenzione non è per dire ai traduttori di iniziare il lavoro ora, ma per farli finire il lavoro.

• Verificare che eventuali nuovi collaboratori siano stati aggiunti al file AUTHORS con le loro foto, se disponibile (riservato a coloro che fanno commit su SVN)

• Assicurarsi che tutti i nuovi collaboratori siano stati aggiunti CONTRIBUTORS (riservato a chi non fa i commit su GIT)

• Verificare che eventuali nuovi sponsor siano stati aggiunti su SPONSORS

• Aggiornare la lista dei cambiamenti con quelli implementati in questa versione (La sezione della lista completa dei cambiamenti si trova qui sotto)

• Aggiornare il file index.html con i nuovi collegamenti web a «Cosa c’è di nuovo», «Richieste hardware» e «Documentazione» (Vedere l’attuale file index.html nella cartella ./doc dei sorgenti)

• Aggiornare la stringa whatsNew su qgisapp.cpp con i nuovi cambiamenti (visibili nella finestra Informazioni)

• Controllare che la documentazione per l’installazione nel file INSTALL.t2t sia aggiornato

• Aggiornare il file index.html con le versioni aggiornati di GRASS e delle librerie necessarie per la compilazione su windows (Vedere l’attuale file index.html nella cartella ./doc dei sorgenti)

• Verificare che cmake produca tutti i file header necessari per costruire applicazioni basate sulla libreria libqgis_*

• Applicare qualsiasi patch in sospeso oppure contrassegnarle per una futura versione nel tracker (vedere la sezione bug tracker qui sotto)

• Applicare i bug fix oppure contrassegnarli per una futura versione (vedere la sezione bug tracker qui sotto)

• Annucio del String freeze per l’interfaccia utente

• Aggiornare e fare commit dei file TS utilizzando lo script su scripts/update_ts_files.sh (GUI Translation Team Lead) dopo l’annuncio di cui sopra

• Avviso ai traduttori per aggiornare le traduzioni e inserire i loro file ts (vedere email d’esempio qui sotto) GUI Translation Team Lead

Una settimana prima - branch & avviso per creare i pacchetti Inserire qui la data¶

• Nessun bug fix, cambiamento di stringhe ecc. è permesso nel ramo branch, solo i cambiamenti necessari per creare i pacchetti.

• Assicurarsi che tutti gli aggiornamenti alle traduzioni siano state applicati (GUI Translation Team Lead).

• Creare l’archivio tarball dei sorgenti prima dell”avviso per creare i pacchetti (vedere le note sotto).

• Branch GIT and call for packaging (see branching notes below) and record revision here: XXXXXX

• Modificare il file build_debian_package.sh ed impostare @dch -v 2.0.0@ alla versione giusta.

• Aggiornare il pacchetto installatore NSIS (win_build/qgis.nsis) al numero di versione giusto.

• Il team Release prepara i comunicati stampa in vari formati in previsione del rilascio (ancora non da pubblicare).

Giorno della nuova versione - Data¶

• Chiudere il ramo della release e annunciare il rilascio a tutti. La data dipende dalla generazione dei pacchetti finali.

• Etichettare il ramo branch come versione finale (vedi sezione tag qui sotto).

• Impostare come sola lettura il tag e ramo branch (vedi note sotto).

• Nota: l’hash di revisione GIT per il rilascio si trova qui:

  XXXXXXX.

• Generare la documentazione API e caricarla all’area download (usando doxygen).

• Caricare i pacchetti finali all’area download (vedi elenco nella parte superiore di questa pagina).

• Il team Release annuncia alla stampa e rende disponibili i pacchetti.

Packaging Team¶

I pacchetti dovrebbero essere caricate su qgis.org nelle sottocartelle appropriate sotto /var/www/downloads

Dopo che ogni pacchetto è stato caricato, deve essere creata una voce sulla pagina wiki su http://download.qgis.org

Email per avvertire i traduttori¶

Quando viene effettuato l’avviso per i traduttori, deve essere inviata una e-mail basata sul modello di seguito, per completare le traduzioni:

Hi All (and especially translators)

As of today please note that we are entering string freeze for the run up
to the next release. If you are committing bug fixes please avoid changing
any strings. Translation .ts files have been updated in SVN so please
update your local svn checkouts. The period for translations will close
MMMM-DD-YYYY (i.e. about one week from now) and then we will be branching
for release. Any translations submitted to us after that time will only be
included in the next release, so please submit what you have by then even
if it is not complete.

Dettagli sul branching e tagging¶

Fare un ramo per il branch della release, utilizzando la sintassi di seguito (aggiornare questo con i comandi reali che hai usato per fare il branch)

git branch release-2_0
git push origin release-2_0

Fai un tag alla release utilizzando un tag firmato:

git tag -s final-2_0_0 -m "Version 2.0.0"
git push origin final-2.0.0

Bug Tracker System¶

Tutti i bug che sono stati risolti in questa versione dovrebbero essere contrassegnati come chiusi. Tutti gli altri bug nel ramo di release dovrebbero essere marcati per una versione futura. Per fare questo:

• creare una nuova milestone e la versione; ad esempio stiamo rilasciando la versione 2.0.0, creiamo una nuova milestone nella redmine per la 2.0.0. Creare il milestone qui:

• Ora è necessario aggiornare ogni bug aperto sul ramo e ripristinare la sua milestone per il prossimo rilascio in futuro. Questo può essere fatto facilmente facendo un aggiornamento batch in redmine.

Creare l’archivio dei sorgenti¶

È possibile farlo eseguendo questo piccolo script:
