Die QGIS Anwendergemeinde hält in regelmäßigen Abständen Anwendertreffen ab. Hauptgründe dieser Treffen sind ganz simpel die Anwender zusammenzubringen die mit QGIS arbeiten, den Kontakt zwischen den Leuten herstellen und auch den Kontakt zwischen Anwendern und Entwicklern zu ermöglichen, neue Features zu zeigen, Projektneuigkeiten auszutauschen und die zukünftige Entwicklung (nicht am Anwender vorbei) zu koordinieren.

Wie man Anwendertreffen ermöglicht

As a condition the meetings usually depend on financial contributions from the community. QGIS developers and contributors are donating their valuable time and you have a great occasion to support or even enable him or her to join the meeting and get the opportunity to discuss and collaboratively resolve bugs, plan the direction for the project and work on new features together with other developers.

The money will be used to cover costs such as venue, meals and to help reducing travelling and accommodation expenses for participants with far arrival. All of the work that takes place at the developer meetings will be directly contributed back into the QGIS project to the benifit of everyone who uses it.
